1) Can CNC machined parts become damaged during production?
Our strict quality control process would catch any mistakes before they left the production line as we are aware of the most common mistakes in CNC manufacturing and can alleviate them. One way CNC machined parts can become damaged is through workpiece clamping, where the clamping point uses too much or too little pressure on the object, either causing dents or allowing it to move. In order to avoid this, it is necessary to select an appropriate clamping point and suitable pressure for the materials you are using, and ensure the clamp can support the object as well as hold it in place as this would prevent deformation during the manufacturing process.
2) Can you produce workpieces using any material?
While every care will be taken to meet your exact product specification, we may sometimes suggest changes due to the softness of the material, the wall thickness of the design (it needs to be able to support itself), and the stability of the material in your chosen environment. When designing parts it’s important to take into consideration these factors to minimize workpiece deformation and faults post-production.
3) What type of quality control equipment do you use?
After the workpiece is machined, we always carry out a strict inspection using a combination of the following tools: dental gauge (to inspect the size and quality of produced parts), needle gauge (to inspect small dimples or holes of the design), vernier caliper (for measuring outside depth and diameter of the parts), micrometer (for inspecting external, internal, and depth size – accurate to 0.01mm), additional three-dimensional detection equipment (to accurately measurement of the size, angle, shape and position of threaded parts and workpieces).
