But its surface is not protected at all, so it is easy to be oxidized when exposed to the air, hence, we usually advise customers to use paint spraying or electroplating process to avoid oxidized. Hot rolled plate (SHCC): material t ≥ 3.0mm, also used for electroplating, stoving paint parts, low cost, but difficult to form, mainly used for plate parts. Galvanized sheet (SECC, SGCC): SECC's substrate is a general cold-rolled steel coil with superior corrosion resistance and decorative appearance. It is highly competitive in the market for electronic products, home appliances and furniture. For example, the SECC is commonly used in computer case cases that we do for our customers. Copper: It is mainly made of conductive materials. Its surface treatment is nickel plating, chrome plating, or no treatment, and the cost is high. Stainless steel plate: generally no surface treatment, high cost, but we can buy raw materials with protective film for customers to come back for processing, at the same time, it can prevent surface scratching. This is a hotel decoration accessory made for an Australian customer before, which is made of stainless steel 316.
In the case where the requirements are not high, the internal sheet metal parts can be rust-proofed by electroplating. If the customer has color requirements, the inner part is considered to be anodized, and the exterior is selected to be powder coated. This product is a kind of case customized for foreign customers, the surface is blue powder coating.
In addition to the above general forming process, sheet metal is usually combined with other methods to achieve the purpose of product assembly, such as welding forming, which is to assemble and weld multiple parts together. The CNC parts needs to be assembled and formed after blanking. There are many ways of assembly, some of which are directly formed by non-welding processes such as screws, rivets, etc., while the mechanical shell sheet metal is usually formed by welding. After welding, the CNC parts are polished, so that the CNC parts are relatively firm and beautiful. The quality of sheet metal processing is not only related to the equipment, but also to the experience of operators and the production of process sequence.
